Admissions process

Twice a year, the Principal Investigators (PIs) at Boston identify new research projects for which students can apply. The application periods are outlined in the timeline below.

Students initially apply for a Short-Term Researcher position. This position also provides an excellent opportunity to complete the Scientific Internship, which is a required component of the Master's programme in Medicine. After the application deadline, the current Long-Term Researchers review all applications and conduct the initial selection. The shortlisted candidates are then evaluated by the Educational Advisory Board, which makes the final admission decision.

Students who perform well during their Short-Term Researcher position are encouraged to apply for a Long-Term Researcher position as a PhD candidate when opportunities become available.
